2021 was a mess, no doubt. But it’s time to be more prepared and to reset for 2021. Since we have adjusted to this pandemic, we should be able to tackle 2021 better. Watch my Reflections and Resolutions for 2020 and 2021.

Have you guys looked back in 2021, moved on and is prepared for what’s to come in 2021?

2020 was a challenge and was fruitful for me, despite the fact that we were disabled from what we were used to. Like everyone, (seen in social media) we took 2020 with tears, joy and laughter. But hopefully, most of us have recovered. For some, hang in there! I personally used the time on things I used to love and shower them more of it during the lockdown and of course, grow it. I have done things that I was not the best at but the quarantine provided ample time for me to try new things out. We were forced to pause and give value to what matters most which is our health, time and loved ones.

It also made us re-evaluate our hygiene!

Reflecting can be good and bad. it will depend on how you took 2020 in, but moving forward is what we must do to prepare ourselves for more this 2021. The ups and downs should have given us valuable lessons to make good use of our time. Resolutions is not mandatory but it will help to keep you track for your goals this year. So.. What are your plans?

I made a rough plan for me this year. Here’s my top 5 to do in 2021:

Pausing

  • The pandemic taught me to value myself overall. My mental, emotional and physical health. It should be a top in my list for this year and the following as well.

Journaling

  • Jotting down can clear up your mind, it allows fresh ideas and recording it simpler and easier. It also helps us revisit our thoughts!

Investing in myself

  • The simplest actions that I love like skincare, meditation, art and crafting can benefit my awesomeness (haha) It supports my first point as what better else to take care of than myself. The pandemic was and is a stressful time. Negativity and unnecessary thoughts can easily invade us unless we do something to occupy us with something we enjoy and love.

Reading

  • Books are pretty as displays and it make your place looking intelligent, but spaces should not be the only one. Returning to my old habit should be a must!

Staying Healthy

  • Constant exercise and healthy eating should also be applied. Like they say, “Feel good and look good”.
